Tessa AI is now Altrina.

This rebrand is a reflection of how far our vision has expanded.

When Harvey and I started building what eventually became Tessa, we assumed the bottleneck inside organizations was tooling. We were software engineers who spent too much time doing… everything except the work we were hired for. Jira tickets. Reviews. Automated tests. Endless sheets. Meetings where half the room didn’t want to admit they weren’t fully aligned.

Across Nvidia, TikTok, Google — the story was the same:
As teams grew, the amount of time spent actually creating value went down.

The deeper problem wasn’t automation gaps or missing integrations.
It was human hesitation. Misalignment. A fear of “looking out of the loop.”
Decision-making slowed. Execution slowed. Creativity slowed.

So we built a browser agent to wrap around existing tools.

But after dozens of customer interviews, including one pivotal visit where a single “workflow” turned out to be step 1 in a painful 22-step human process, we realized something else:

Organizations don’t need more tools.
They need clarity. Alignment. Shared understanding.
They need a system that knows what everyone is doing, why, and where it all connects.

And that’s not a browser agent problem.
That’s a human problem.

Why Altrina

Altrina comes from Alternate + Intelligence:
a parallel system that doesn’t replace humans, but replaces the unfulfilling jobs that block humans from doing their actual work.

We still use browser agents, but only as instruments inside a much larger platform; something capable of handling entire processes end-to-end. Not point solutions, but delegable systems. A kind of organizational autopilot.

An AI-native workspace that learns the values, goals, and objectives of your team, and then keeps everyone aligned without the bureaucracy.

If we succeed, a Fortune 500 company will move as fast as a 50-person startup.
